I’d say it’s nothing to worry about it tends to be more of a tendon than a bone thing and a bit of daily stretching and proper rest will no doubt smooth things over but at some point you’re going to be old and it will become a bone thing or a joint thing and then it’s an ongoing appraisal of whether daily discomfort has ambled into the realms of chronic pain and even then society will half expect you to grit your teeth if you have any left and i’ve never been afraid of one day needing a stick as there’s something equally erudite and threatening if you choose the right one as you don’t need to look like you’ll win against a lithe and sprightly mugger but rather whether you’ve got it in you to inconvenience them or put a dampener on their day and an elder is poor game these days compared to someone in a suit walking close to the curb with the latest iPhone nested lightly between pillowy fingertips before it leaps from their grasp and then jitters about a few estate addresses on the finder app before it soars across eurasia and lands back to china then blips into nothingness having returned to the source to the place its birth like wild salmon
